Putri Indahsari Tanjung was born on 22
September 1996 in Jakarta.1 Putri Tanjung, her nickname. Putri Tanjung is the first
daughter of a successful conglomerate in Indonesia named Chairul Tanjung.
Although born as a very well-off person, Putri Tanjung does not always depend
on her father. As with making a business. Putri admitted since she was in
school that she was interested in the world of events.2
Putri is a student of the San Francisco Academy
of Arts3, United States and has studied online multimedia
communication major before studying in the land of uncle Sam. Known to start a
career at the age of 15 years to make events at school. Until 2011, Putri
ventured to establish an event organizer (EO) named El-Paradiso which was
engaged in small-scale birthday events4.
But in the business sector, Putri did not ask
for capital at all from her father. She tried to be independent5
and collect money from business funds and work here and there. She is called
a successful6 young figure pursuing a career in the business
world, by becoming CEO of Creativepreneur Event Creator since 2014.
On the website, Putri Tanjung founded
Creativepreneur7 at the age of 17, which later developed as one
of the "creative agencies for companies in Indonesia who want to reach the
millennial market." When elected as Jokowi's Special Staff, Putri Tanjung
answered doubts related to the name of CT Corp's owner, Chairul Tanjung, who
was Putri's biological father.
Putri admitted that the business she
initiated was packaged8 in a youth style because the young
people saw the product from the side of the packaging. She believes the
potential of the creative economy in Indonesia is extraordinary.9
At the age of 20 years, Putri has convinced in
business and projects10 in the creative industry involving young
Indonesian people who have the passion and vision for Indonesia. "Muda
Bergerak" movement, the name of the project had been being carried11
out with other Indonesian artist colleagues, with the aim of igniting young
people's enthusiasm as inspirational generations of the Nation to contribute to
the surrounding environment.
